Workflow Terminology
- Inpainting
- The process of reconstructing lost or deteriorated parts of an image. In AI Art, it is used to fix specific defects (hands, eyes) without regenerating the whole image.
- Outpainting
- Generating new pixels outside the original borders of the image to expand the canvas or change the aspect ratio.
- Upscaling (Magnific)
- Increasing the resolution of an image while using AI to 'hallucinate' plausible high-frequency details (pores, fabric texture) that weren't in the original.
- The Sandwich Workflow
- A production pipeline where Human inputs (sketch/idea) lead to AI Generation, followed by Human Editing (Photoshop) for the final result.
