Pending Generation...

Guide: Welcome to ControlNet. Unlike standard Text-to-Image which is chaotic, ControlNet allows you to copy the 'structure' of an input image (like edges or pose) and apply it to your generation.

ControlNet Workflow

Unlock nodes by mastering structure, pose, and depth.

Concept: The "Anchor"

Stable Diffusion generates noise. Without ControlNet, prompting "A man standing" creates a random man in a random pose. ControlNet locks the composition by adding an extra neural network layer that guides the diffusion process based on an input image.

Practical Training

Glossary of Terms

Preprocessor
A computer vision algorithm (like Canny or OpenPose) that analyzes the input image and creates a "Control Map" (black and white image) that the AI can read.
Control Weight
A slider (0.0 to 2.0) determining how strictly Stable Diffusion must follow the control map. Higher values mean the output looks more like the input.
Canny
An edge-detection method. It turns an image into a wireframe. Best for high-contrast images and preserving detailed shapes.
Ending Control Step
At what percentage of the generation should ControlNet stop influencing the image? Stopping early (e.g., 0.8) allows the AI to add more creative details at the end.
