A certification doesn't make you a great Scrum Master, but it proves you have a solid foundation in the theory and principles of the framework.
1The Logic of the Test
Many questions describe a scenario where things are going wrong. Your answer should always align with the Scrum pillars. Would your choice increase Transparency? Does it respect the team's Self-management?
2Common Pitfalls
Don't bring your 'Company's Scrum' to the exam. Most companies do 'Scrum-ish'. The exam tests 'True Scrum'. If your company has a Project Manager in the Scrum team, ignore that during the test!
3The Time Box
60 minutes goes fast. Practice reading questions quickly. Many are designed to be 'distractors'—long stories that end in a simple question. Train your brain to find the core problem quickly.
